Authentication

Uses the DrChrono OAuth connector. The platform injects access_token.

drchrono_get_doctor_flags

Fetches patient fields that function like coding flags or chart alerts. The tool parses obvious cash-pay and self-pay indicators for deterministic skip checks.

Inputs

Required:
  • patient_id: DrChrono patient ID.

Output

Common failure reasons:
  • drchrono_not_connected
  • patient fetch failure

The tool emits markdown for the feed: a ## Doctor Flags table (cash-pay, self-pay) and a ## Raw Text block with the parsed patient text. The full patient record stays in structuredContent.

Agent Instruction Guidance

Call this after drchrono_get_appointment_summary passes cheap skip checks and before documentation fetch. If is_cash_pay or is_self_pay is true, the workflow should skip coding unless the user explicitly wants a draft only.
